ADF has been supplying, repairing and servicing weighbridges for over 40 years. We have carried out numerous structural repairs, including complete girder replacement, using correctly specified steel to ensure that the structural integrity is not compromised.
ADF design, build and fit weighbridge load cell conversion kits to replace units which are either obsolete or extremely expensive. We provide this service for all makes of weighbridges; four, six and eight load cell designs, including both below ground and above ground installations. This provides a low cost, high quality final product that utilises a modern stainless steel fully welded load cell which is fully waterproof and extends the life of the machine considerably.
Regular quality weighbridge calibration is essential to ensure accuracy, if the machine is inaccurate then the user is giving away material which translates into loss of profit. ADF uses a weighbridge test unit that has a total weight test capacity of 50 tonne, using certified Weights and Measures approved weights. The calibration will identify problems that are not easily detectable and we can then offer a solution.
We regularly convert older style digital display weighbridges to modern, up to date designs, either linking to your existing IT systems or supplying our own system. Unmanned installations are becoming more popular; ADF can design, manufacture and install simple and easy to use systems that equate to quick, efficient and accurate weighing.
New weighbridges that are high quality, robust and reliable, both below ground and surface mounted designs, are supplied and installed by ADF on time and within budget. ADF will retrofit a bespoke designed and constructed weighbridge, to fit a customer’s existing pit. This will save approximately 50% of the total cost of a new weighbridge and newly constructed pit; making much more sense, financially.
When ADF repair, modify or install a new weighbridge it has to be certified as fit for trade use so it is ‘legal to sell across’. We calibrate, adjust and stay on site whilst this is carried out by Weights and Measures. They are an independent Government body that ensure the work carried out by ADF meets all current regulations and the equipment is totally accurate.
