Bench Scales

Bench scales usually have a capacity ranging from 500g to 30kg, with various accuracies. As the name suggests, they are designed to sit on a workbench or table. Bench Scales are usually both mains and internally rechargeable battery powered. This makes them completely portable around a site and avoids any power supply problems.

There are numerous bench scale versions available. These include industrial plastic housings and steel and food grade stainless steel. Similarly there are different types of weighing applications that require different bench scales. ADF supply scales that will provide simple, straightforward weighing results.

It is important that the correct bench scale is used for the specific application you need. This ensures that you obtain the most benefit and value for money. A few examples:

Check weighing scales allow the entry of a target weight and will warn the operator, either visually or by alarm, that the correct weight has been achieved.
All stainless steel scales, and some plastic cased units, are usually described as ‘wash down scales’ for the food processing industry.
There are various degrees of sealing against water ingress, usually from a minimum of IP65 to IP68.
Trade approved versions of bench scales allow products to be sold by weight as well as standard weighing scales.
